Caslaquartz's man-made quartz stone plant includes a slab stone factory and a finished stone processing plant. 100% technology transferred from Breton, Caslaquartz's artificial quartz stone production process is methodical, fully automated.
The production process of Caslaquartz high-class artificial quartz stone consists of steps:
- Checking raw materials: Before going into production, the raw materials are thoroughly checked for quality and quantified in the exact ratio as prescribed.
- Mixing materials: Raw quartz is crushed and mixed with polymers, resins and colorants by industrial mixers in the right proportions. This is the stage that ensures the initial raw materials become homogeneous, and at the same time, the machine will also create diverse stone patterns according to the design.
- Shaping: The materials will be shaped according to the thickness and size of the stone as prescribed. Standard thickness is 20mm - 30mm, maximum size is 3,300mm x 1,650mm
- Vibration: Shaped stone will be transferred to the vibrator along with the stone mold. In a vacuum environment, the process of vibrating and pressing is carried out with a pressure of 100 tons to produce a stone slab with high density and absolute strength.
- Curing: After undergoing the process of vibrating and pressing, the stone slabs will be transferred to the curing furnace to help promote chemical bonds to react 100%.
- Stone grinding: After going through the above stages, the stone slabs will be grinded and polished to a standard gloss. The stone slab will have a polished surface or a matte surface depending on the model. The finished product is large size stone slabs, perfect surface, no scratches, cracks or pits.
- Inspection and classification: Each stone slab is checked for quality according to the specified parameters, classified, labeled... before packing and ready to be shipped to customers.
